Adam Richardson has been named president and CEO of Enstrom Helicopter Corporation following his term as COO. Former president Todd Tetzlaff has moved into a new role as senior vice president of regulatory affairs and global relations.
For the past two years, Richardson and Tetzlaff jointly led efforts to relaunch Enstrom internationally. During that time, the company regained its Production Certificate and Repair Station Certificate and completed deliveries of turbine and piston helicopters to customers in South America and Africa.
Richardson, a former US Marine, joined Enstrom in early 2023. He previously spent 17 years at Rolls-Royce Corporation in various operational positions and holds a business management degree from Indiana Wesleyan University.
Enstrom owner Chuck Surack says: “Adam has demonstrated an infectious energy and determination to succeed that will benefit both customers and Enstrom employees.”
Richardson adds: “It's amazing I get to start with the full complement of knowledge we've built over the past two years. Todd is still here. I'm still here. What we are doing is organising and right fitting our abilities in the best way for our employees, our customers and our business model.”
Tetzlaff’s new role is designed to allow closer attention to regulatory priorities and international relationships as Enstrom continues to expand.
The company highlighted these leadership changes alongside its recent 480B Elite showcase and partnership with Ontario-based Heli-Lynx at VAI Verticon in Dallas. Richardson said the company is only at the beginning of its plans for growth: “With our core values of integrity, trust and teamwork, Enstrom customers have every reason to be excited for the future.”
