Private jet management and charter company FlyHouse has appointed Al Mann as chief safety officer, strengthening its focus on aviation safety. Headquartered in Los Angeles, FlyHouse describes safety as the foundation of its operations.
Mann brings experience from multiple sectors and most recently served as vice president of corporate safety, security and compliance at Wheels Up. There, he helped shape its safety infrastructure and led compliance oversight. His industry involvement includes serving as chair of the NBAA Domestic Operations Committee and as a member of the NATA Air Charter Committee. He was also appointed by the Secretary of Transportation to the FAA's Training Standardisation Working Group.
At FlyHouse, Mann will develop safety programmes and drive a proactive approach to risk management and compliance. He is a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society in recognition of his contributions to global aviation safety.
