GDAT inks H225 HCare deal with Airbus
GDAT is one of China's leading innovative general aviation service providers, specialising in helicopter operations, maintenance and modifications, as well as emergency rescue flights and other government services.
The H225 is famed for performing in tough environments.

GDAT, a prominent Chinese helicopter operator, has signed an HCare In-Service contract with Airbus to cover 10 H225 rotorcraft. This fleet will be used in multiple missions like emergency services and forest protection by governmental organisations.

The HCare In-Service contract ensures optimised spare parts availability, streamlined logistics and cost-effective maintenance planning, allowing GDAT to maximise operational efficiency and fleet readiness.

“At GDAT, maintaining a high level of fleet availability is essential to our operations,” reveals Peter Jiang, chairman of GDAT. “With this services package, we can plan our maintenance more efficiently and operate with greater confidence, knowing we have the backing of Airbus Helicopters' logistics network. We appreciate Airbus Helicopters' support and look forward to a strong and successful partnership.”

“We are grateful to be building on our long-standing partnership with GDAT and to be providing it with this HCare In-Service support package for its H225 fleet,” adds Romain Trapp, executive vice president, customer support and services at Airbus Helicopters. “Our priority is to keep its operations running smoothly by ensuring it has the parts it needs, when it needs them. With this agreement, we are fully committed to supporting GDAT with efficient, reliable services so it can focus on what matters most; staying in the air and carrying out its important missions.”

GDAT is one of China's leading innovative general aviation service providers, specialising in helicopter operations, maintenance and modifications, as well as emergency rescue flights and other government services. The group is headquartered in Shanghai and has four wholly-owned subsidiaries across China as well as operating bases in Suzhou and Ningbo, and an overseas branch in London.

As the latest addition to the Super Puma family, the H225 is recognised for its high performance in challenging conditions as well as its outstanding range and payload capacity. The aircraft's state-of-the-art avionics and autopilot systems provide increased safety, while reducing pilot workload.

HCare is Airbus Helicopters' comprehensive services offer, providing superior customer service support in five domains: material management; helicopter MRO and upgrades; technical support; training and flight operations; and connected services.
