Euro Jet recruits personnel in mainland Europe
Euro Jet is giving opportunities to new talent in Slovenia, Lithuania and Estonia. Employing a broad range of personnel enables it to offer the best service possible to its ground support customers all over the region.

Central and Eastern European ground support provider Euro Jet is expanding its team in Slovenia, Lithuania and Estonia. By investing in people, it reinforces its commitment to providing the highest level of trip support across its core regions while fostering trust and long-term partnerships.

According to COO Tomas Chobot, the company is actively growing its aviation expertise by hiring experienced aviation professionals in strategic locations. “We are strengthening our position in the region by adding agents on the ramp,” he says. “In our core region we are present throughout. It does not matter if it is a big or small airport; our people are there to meet the aircraft.”

To maintain the highest standards of service, new agents undergo training at Euro Jet's operations centre in Prague, Czech Republic where they receive hands-on instruction in customer service, safety protocols and operational procedures. This investment in training ensures that Euro Jet's ground support coordinators are well-prepared to handle any situation.

Katarzyna Kopanska, country manager for the Baltics, emphasises the importance of hiring proactive, hardworking and highly experienced professionals. “Euro Jet primarily handles military and business flights in the Baltic region, she says. "We frequently accommodate heads of state, making VIP and government flights a significant part of our operations.”

Above all, Kopanska seeks individuals who share her passion for aviation. “If someone truly loves this industry, I know we will work well together. While experience is valuable, I believe enthusiasm, dedication and a willingness to learn are the most important qualities for success in this role. Everything else can be taught. Our new agents bring extensive experience in aviation, and we are confident that Euro Jet will attract new clients and strengthen our position in the region,” says Katarzyna. “Their expertise and connections will help us improve service quality and operational efficiency.”

Olegas Sibeko got his start in aviation at a military airport in Afghanistan, where he developed a deep passion for the industry. Now, retired from the Lithuanian military, he serves as Euro Jet's new ground service coordinator at Kaunas airport in Lithuania, where military flights are increasing. “My task is to make sure all written requests, such as catering, refuelling and boarding, are done without any misunderstanding. I take immediate action to solve problems and report issues to ops,” he says.

Hasan Steinberg, a seasoned professional with a life-long passion for aviation brings his handling experience and extensive industry knowledge to the ramp in Estonia. Hasan is well-acquainted with every commercial Estonian airport but primarily operates at Tallinn and Tartu, the country's busiest locations.

“The most requested services include ground handling, the VIP lounge, ground transportation, catering and accommodation,” he explains. “These are essential for ensuring the best possible customer experience.”

Looking ahead, Hasan is eager to contribute to Euro Jet's growth. “I aim to stay engaged in aviation and participate in industry development. My goal is to become the best at what I do.”

In Slovenia, where Euro Jet supports private jet flights from a variety of destinations as well as technical stops on delivery flights, Gal Perne, ground service coordinator in Slovenia, has witnessed the positive impact of his strategic hires. “We have been handling a significant number of flights to Ljubljana, including both cargo and passenger military flights,” he notes. “With the addition of new agents, we can provide comprehensive ground support at all times.”

One of these additions, Aljaz Strmsek brings extensive ground handling experience, including baggage handling and technical equipment operation. “Aljaz is young but has extensive expertise working at the airport,” Perne says.

The other, Jan Cerne offers valuable insight into ground operations, technical dispatching and private flight handling. “Jan has worked in various ground handling positions at Ljubljana Airport, giving him a deep understanding of how ground services should be coordinated,” Gal explains. “He knows exactly who to contact to arrange services and ensures that everything is completed as efficiently as possible.”

“The company is growing,” COO Tomas surmises. “And we are still looking for more dedicated aviation people and valued partnerships. We are also looking to expand our team in Vilnius, Lithuania, and Riga, Latvia, to further grow the region.”

With its dedicated agents on the ground, the company ensures that every flight receives exceptional service. Euro Jet is more than just a trip support company; it is a people-driven organisation, where trust, expertise and dedication define success. As the team grows, so does the company's ability to provide outstanding service across its core regions.
