Northern Jet gains Part 145 repair station certification
The FAA certification had enhanced the company's in-house maintenance capabilities, improving efficiency, reducing downtime and strengthening operational safety.

Northern Jet has obtained a Part 145 repair station certificate, enabling the private jet charter company to expand its in-house maintenance capabilities and improve aircraft maintenance, inspections and alterations. This strategic move enhances efficiency, reduces downtime and provides greater service reliability for aircraft owners and charter clients. The certificate was purchased from Craig Air Centers at Jacksonville, FL, although Northern Jet's acquisition did not include the company itself.

“Safety has always been Northern Jet's highest priority,” says Chris Bull, CEO of Northern Jet. “The acquisition of this Part 145 repair station allows us to reduce aircraft downtime, streamline maintenance, and increase operational efficiency by eliminating the need for certain third-party services.”

The FAA certification ensures that maintenance operations meet strict regulatory standards, reinforcing Northern Jet’s commitment to safety and quality control. By reducing reliance on third-party MRO facilities, the company can offer faster response times and greater oversight of maintenance operations.
