Jetex and Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Transport have signed a memorandum of cooperation to establish a state-of-the-art fixed base operator (FBO) at Tashkent East Airport. The agreement, formalised in Dubai by Transport Minister Ilhom Mahkamov and Jetex founder Adel Mardini, marks a significant step in advancing business aviation in Uzbekistan.
The project, initiated under President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s vision, aims to provide world-class FBO services that will support individual and corporate air travel, fostering new opportunities for entrepreneurs and positioning Uzbekistan as a regional aviation hub.
“Through our partnership with Jetex, we aim to establish world-class FBO services that will enhance both individual and corporate air travel,” says Ilkhom Mahkamov, Minister of Transport for the Republic of Uzbekistan. “This will unlock new opportunities for entrepreneurs. With Jetex's expertise, we are committed to delivering a premier experience and building the infrastructure necessary to position Uzbekistan as a leading business aviation hub in the region.”
