Goodwin, a US-based developer of charter aviation software, has extended its platform beyond its initial beta group to a select cohort of industry participants. The move aims to broaden access while gathering further insights to enhance its solutions.
Goodwin's platform streamlines three core aspects of the charter booking process: sourcing, proposals and payments. Its sourcing feature consolidates aircraft availability from multiple operators into a single, searchable interface, significantly reducing the time brokers spend finding options.
The platform facilitates brokers in creating customised proposals by adjusting margins and fees, tailoring details for clients. An integrated payments system ensures accurate and timely settlements, enhancing transparency and efficiency for operators, brokers and customers.
Goodwin co-founder Tolga Demirel highlighted the role of beta testers in shaping the platform. Over the past year, their feedback led to over 300 updates and improvements, ensuring the system meets real-world demands. Demirel noted that beta users experienced a 30% reduction in sourcing and proposal times and a 25% decrease in payment processing errors.
"Our beta partners were instrumental in shaping the platform," Demirel says. "Over the past year, we implemented more than 300 feature updates and enhancements based on their feedback. We are excited to open the pool slightly, while still keeping it limited to a small number of brokers and operators as we continue progressing through our product roadmap."
Goodwin are expected to release interviews, visual content and case studies in the coming weeks to showcase how the platform enhances business operations.
