Adventure Pilot launches advanced iFly EFB features
A new software update has provided both amateur and professional pilots with additional cutting-edge flight resources.
The weather display will now sync with forecasts, enabling pilots to view evolving conditions directly along their flight path.

Adventure Pilot, the developer of the iFly EFB aviation companion tool, has launched iFly EFB version 13.2, a significant update delivering new features intended to make flying safer, smarter and more efficient for both professional pilots and aviation enthusiasts.

Among the most notable enhancements is the new 'Forecast Layer' feature, offering real-time and future projections for critical flight conditions such as flight rules, visibility, ceilings and more. This innovation empowers users to visualise weather conditions across their routes, making it easier to plan for changing environments.

Version 13.2 also introduces significant improvements to the Vertical Profile feature, including a 'Layers' button that allows users to customise which data is displayed, as well as comprehensive cloud and flight rules information to improve situational awareness throughout the flight. The weather display will now sync with forecasts, enabling pilots to view evolving conditions directly along their flight path.

Other key updates include:

- Flight plan briefings in PDF format for more professional and shareable documents.

- Enhanced performance in briefing and filing processes for faster, more reliable outputs.

- iFly EFB aviation tablet NMEA output, improving connectivity and data reliability.

- Improved flight plan importing and exporting, allowing for smoother data management.

- Performance enhancements across the platform.

“These upgrades are a direct result of the feedback we receive from our passionate user community,” says Juanita Boyd, VP of operations at Adventure Pilot. “The new forecast mapping capabilities, along with the PDF flight briefing option, are features our users have been asking for, and we're excited to deliver tools that make their flying experience even better.”
