Guangzhou takes delivery of its first Airbus H175
The helicopter will perform public service missions and support emergency management for the Guangzhou air force in China.
The H175 is an ideal platform for critical public service missions.

Airbus Helicopters has delivered the first H175 to the Guangzhou Public Security Bureau (GZP) air force in China. The helicopter will perform public service missions and support emergency management.

GZP’s fleet currently includes two H145s that were delivered in 2016 and 2019 respectively, and which have accumulated a total of 3,200 flight hours.

“The H175, with its outstanding performance and capabilities, will enhance our efficiency and provide us with an essential tool to fulfil our diverse mission portfolio,” says Zhang Rui, vice mayor of Guangzhou and secretary of the party committee of GZP. “We look forward to continuing to work together with Airbus to jointly promote the development of the aviation industry in Guangzhou.”

“We are very proud of our long track record of successful cooperation with the GZP,” adds Colin James, managing director of Airbus Helicopters in China. “We are pleased to equip the GZP with our H175 helicopter, which is an ideal platform for these critical public service missions, supporting it in keeping our communities safe.”

In service since 2015, Airbus’ super-medium H175 combines long-range and payload with smooth flight qualities. 65 have been delivered to date and have accumulated more than 240,000 flight hours.
