Volanteus provides charter for major US tournament
The complexities of a packed tournament schedule and the high stakes of competitive play mean that even minor disruptions can have major consequences. Volanteus ensured all athletes arrived in peak condition.
Volanteus managed a diverse fleet tailored to the needs of each client, from the Phenom 300 to the Gulfstream 650ER, as well as VIP airliners such as Boeing 737-800s and Boeing 757-200s.

Volanteus has successfully delivered a high-profile project, transporting elite athletes, coaches and support staff to a prestigious sporting tournament in the United States. This complex mission involved the UK company orchestrating 72 group and private jet flight sectors across North America, covering key locations including Miami, Los Angeles and Dallas.

In the world of sports, where every detail can influence the outcome, seamless travel is more than a convenience; it's a necessity and a critical component of success. The complexities of a packed tournament schedule, coupled with the high stakes of competitive play, mean that even minor disruptions can have major consequences. As athletes travel across continents to compete, seamless and comfortable travel becomes a vital component of their overall performance strategy. This mission ensured that all passengers arrived in peak condition, ready to compete at the highest level. Volanteus managed a diverse fleet tailored to the specific needs of each client, ranging from the efficient Phenom 300 jet to the ultra-luxurious Gulfstream 650ER, as well as VIP airliners such as Boeing 737-800s and Boeing 757-200s. This array of aircraft demonstrated Volanteus' ability to offer a wide spectrum of air travel experiences, from intimate, private flights to larger group charters.

Dedicated team members were stationed across the US, providing on-the-ground support and managing the intricate travel schedules of both group and private jet charters. The success of this project was strengthened by the comprehensive ground support provided by the team. By being present in all locations, team members could swiftly address any challenges and provide immediate solutions. One team member notably spent four weeks in Miami, working directly with clients to coordinate an elaborate private jet programme, allowing for real-time adjustments and personalised service. This hands-on approach not only developed strong client relationships but also provided invaluable insights that enhanced the overall operation.

Behind the scenes, the operations team at Volanteus played a crucial role, working on rolling shifts to monitor the array of flights around the clock. This and a proactive travel management service, and meticulous attention, ensures peace of mind to Volanteus' clients who include high net worth individuals, celebrities, business executives and sports professionals.

Craig Grantham, director of group charter, highlights the meticulous planning and execution involved in this project: “It's been an incredible journey working alongside such a dedicated and talented group. This project required months of planning and coordination, and I'm amazed and proud at how our team rose to the challenge, consistently delivering above and beyond expectations.”

CEO Mark Green adds: “This project was a significant milestone for us, showcasing the incredible synergy between our private jet charter, group charter, operations and flight care teams. It's been fantastic to see these diverse teams come together, sharing their expertise and working to deliver an exceptional service. Their combined efforts and round-the-clock dedication were crucial in making this project a success.”
