NHV inks purchase assignment and leaseback agreements for five helis
The deal includes four H175s, one of which is already supporting offshore O&G ops in Denmark, with three others arriving 2025 and 2026. A new AW169 will be deployed for offshore O&G missions in Côte d'Ivoire.
The H175s will support NHV's expanding portfolio of offshore operations in the North Sea, while the second AW169 is part of its fleet renewal strategy for offshore contracts in Côte d'Ivoire.

NHV Group has signed purchase assignment and leaseback agreements for four Airbus H175 helicopters, one of which has already delivered and is currently supporting offshore oil and gas operations in Denmark, with the remaining three new units scheduled for delivery in 2025 and 2026. In addition, a new Leonardo AW169 is expected to be delivered in the coming weeks and will be deployed for offshore oil and gas missions in Côte d'Ivoire.

CEO Thomas Hütsch says: "NHV is looking forward to receiving the new H175 units in the coming years to support our expanding portfolio of offshore operations in the North Sea, as well as the second AW169, which is part of NHV's fleet renewal strategy to provide a modern fleet in support of offshore contracts in Côte d'Ivoire."

"We are delighted to expand our relationship with NHV, supporting its ongoing fleet requirements," adds Milestone CEO Pat Sheedy. "The offshore market has already begun the transition to new technology aircraft with the introduction of super medium helicopters in most oil and gas regions around the world. However, given the fragile balance between supply and demand, maintaining discipline will be key to achieving a sustainable market environment for all participants. Milestone has continued to invest in the most modern fuel-efficient technology and boasts the largest fleet of heavy and super medium aircraft, meaning we are ideally positioned to support our customers' strategic fleet decisions through the financing of new and used aircraft."
