Gestair’s Malta AOC doubles activity in first four months of 2024
Since its opening in 2021, Gestair Aviation Malta has significantly increased all its records, tripling the fleet of aircraft managed and flight hours flown.

Gestair is continuing on the path of international growth, consolidating the group’s flight activity during the first four months of 2024. It has experienced 100 per cent growth in the number of flights by Gestair Aviation Malta, compared with the previous year’s figures.

The company reports that the existing demand for flights that combine business trips with second home trips is mainly driven by the values of business aviation: flexibility, safety and the possibility of landing at small airports.

The opening of the Malta AOC has led to the internationalisation of the company. Since its opening in 2021, Gestair Aviation Malta has significantly increased all its records, tripling the fleet of aircraft managed and flight hours flown and reinforcing its workforce based on the same figure.

Gestair launched the Horizon Programme years ago, whereby all marketed flights in the company’s fleet operate with SAF and offset their emissions to fly sustainably.

The renewal of the fleet at the AOC in Spain, the growth of Malta and the implementation of sustainable and environmentally friendly projects have contributed to the company’s growth of more than 40 per cent in flight hours from 2020 to the present day.
