DC Aviation Group presents newly designed Nice FBO
By improving the infrastructure at Nice airport, DC Aviation G-OPS guarantees fast and efficient handling processes and offers customers the highest level of comfort and privacy.
DC Aviation G-OPS presented its newly designed FBO with VIP passenger lounge at Nice airport during an opening ceremony on 7 May, 2024.

DC Aviation G-Ops has presented its newly designed FBO with VIP passenger lounge at Nice airport in France. As part of the opening ceremony, 80 invited guests experienced the newly designed 300sqm premises, which offers a luxurious passenger lounge as well as a comfortable crew lounge. After DC Aviation G-Ops took over the FBO in January 2023, the infrastructure was optimised and modernised without interrupting operations.

In addition to maximum quality, comfort and discretion for passengers, the lounge also provides the best possible relaxation for crews and well-being for employees. One important measure was the installation of an acoustic wall made of real wood, which provides the highest level of sound insulation. With its timeless, elegant design, the new lounge reflects the style of the DC Aviation Group and embodies G-OPS' passion for excellence. Large windows for plenty of light, the use of high quality natural materials and furnishings with design classics offer passengers a quiet and peaceful lounge in which to relax. The FBO is equipped with its own sanitary facilities, a unique feature in the business aviation terminal at Nice airport.

"With a longstanding presence at Nice airport, G-OPS has provided local expertise to its clients in the French Riviera for over a decade," says CEO Karim Berrandou. "The inauguration of the FBO marks a significant milestone for us as we expand our service offerings while pouring our local expertise into this cutting-edge FBO. This addition reinforces G-OPS' commitment to creating a unique platform dedicated to meeting the needs of business aviation."

Marc Ambrosius, managing director of DC Aviation Group, adds: "DC Aviation G-Ops supports the airport's zero-emissions concept in the operation of the FBO. This includes the conversion of the vehicle fleet to 100 per cent electric drive as well as the reduction of disposable waste. Our aim is to contribute to the development of innovative solutions for sustainable aviation."

DC Aviation G-Ops offers a full range of VIP handling services at its Nice location. These include apron handling, loading and unloading of business aircraft, baggage handling, VIP and crew transportation, provision of refuelling services, exclusive passenger and crew services with dedicated lounge areas, obtaining the necessary departure permits and slots, and assistance with customs and immigration formalities.
