480B pilots can now expect faster, cooler engine starts with a higher voltage for powerful starts. An automatic, built-in battery heater can keep them flying, even in bitterly cold weather.
The True Blue Power TB17 has an eight year average battery life and a two year maintenance cycle, giving customers less time in the shop and more time in the air.

Enstrom has expanded its relationship with Airwolf Aerospace, adding an STC for the installation of True Blue Power TB17 lithium-ion batteries. This option will be available for all Enstrom 480B model helicopters.
