China Southern Airlines leases one Sikorsky S-92
China Southern Airlines has signed a lease agreement for a Sikorsky S-92. The helicopter is configured for offshore passenger use and will be deployed on critical O&G missions in China from the Zhuhai base.
The lease of this S-92 helicopter follows the sale of an S-92 helicopter by Milestone to CSAGA in 2023.

China Southern Airlines General Aviation (CSAGA) is to lease a Sikorsky S-92 helicopter from Milestone Aviation Group.

The helicopter is configured for offshore passenger transport and will be deployed on critical offshore oil and gas missions in China from CSAGA's Zhuhai base. The lease of this S-92 helicopter follows the sale of an S-92 helicopter by Milestone to CSAGA in 2023.

Frank Cai, deputy GM of CSAGA for aircraft procurement and maintenance, says: "The introduction of this S-92 not only helps CSAGA boost its market share in China's oil and gas helicopter service industry but also marks a new era of collaboration between CSAGA and Milestone Aviation."

Milestone head of emerging markets Michael York adds: "We are delighted to further our relationship with China Southern Airlines with the signing of this lease agreement and look forward to continuing to support it with its fleet requirements."

CSAGA has more than 40 years of helicopter and fixed-wing operational experience. It currently manages more than 30 helicopters comprising 11 types and is fully experienced in offshore oil and gas, offshore turbine maintenance, power-line patrol, live-line maintenance, insulator flushing, tower erection, firefighting, SAR, passenger and cargo transport missions.
