President and CEO Brad Bruce.

Pentastar Aviation has appointed seasoned industry veteran and long-time Pentastar leader Brad Bruce to the role of president and CEO.

"Brad has a strong passion for serving our customers, leading teams and supporting talent," says owner Edsel B Ford II. "I know he is the right leader as we approach our next chapter as a company. I am confident in our direction and the talent of our team to continue delivering the industry-leading, award-winning service we are known for and that our clients have come to expect."

Bruce replaces Greg Schmidt, who is thanked for his 16 years of service, time and contributions.

Bruce has been a member of the Pentastar team for the past 10 years, most recently serving as the executive vice president of sales and maintenance. In this role, he led Pentastar's sales and marketing, business development and strategic direction. He served four years active duty in the US Marine Corps as an aircraft technician on Cobra and Huey helicopters before earning a bachelor's degree in flight science from Western Michigan University. Bruce has also held senior leadership positions with other multi-service aviation companies.

"It's my distinct honour to lead the Pentastar team as we celebrate our landmark 60th year in business in 2024," says Bruce. "We have a big year ahead with promising opportunities, and I know we will accomplish great things as a team, taking Pentastar to new heights."
