Nicholas Air adds G600 and launches Steel Jet memberships
Nicholas Air is offering the G600 in a new jet card format, for consumers who do not want to spend over $6m for a fractional share to gain access, or who simply need large cabin options for certain trips.

Nicholas Air, a US aircraft management, fractional ownership and jet membership provider based in Oxford, Mississippi, has added a Gulfstream G600 to its growing fleet of owned and operated private aircraft.

The Gulfstream G600 marks the company's entry into the ultra-long-range market and acquisition of worldwide dispatch and operational capabilities. It has seating for up to 13 passengers in a cabin that features whisper-quiet technology, has a lower cabin altitude and the largest windows in its class.

This fleet addition reaffirms a commitment to the membership base to keep growing responsibly but ambitiously. Founder and CEO NJ Correnti says: "Over the years, we've been incredibly analytical when it comes to fleet growth, so the expansion into the Gulfstream platform is one that took deep thought and analysis. To welcome an aircraft of this calibre to our programme is a testament to our responsible growth, our corporate stability, and is due to our corporate structure and our ability to stay nimble and opportunistic in the market."

He notes the interest the aircraft has received to date, adding: "An aircraft like this is simply not available in the market. You may find the older Gulfstream series aircraft available for charter or in a brokered jet card, however not the new G600 series, which is in a league of its own. Being the only company in the nation offering the new series Gulfstreams in a jet card format now gives options to consumers who do not want to spend over $6 million for a fractional share to gain access. This new programme is also great for those tired of whole aircraft ownership or that simply need access to large cabin options for certain trips. The new programme is something we are very excited about as we hear from our members about their desire to utilise Nicholas Air over their current large cabin providers."

The G600 can be accessed through the company's new Steel Jet programme, a combination of its existing flight programme and the new Nicholas Lifestyle portfolio. It will be available to members from mid-January in time for President's Day weekend, ski trips and leading into Spring Break.
