Sonoma Aviation, the operator of California-based FBOs Carlsbad Jet Center and Sonoma Jet Center, has appointed Jeremy Epperson as its new president while promoting Clayton Lackey to the role of vice president.

Epperson's professional journey took flight in 1993 when he joined the US Marine Corps. There he developed as a leader in service of his team. In 2003 he entered the world of FBO management with significant roles at Signature Aviation, Republic Jet Center and most recently as president and COO of Aero Centers. He is a licensed commercial pilot.

CEO Joshua Hochberg says: "Jeremy's track record as a leader in the FBO industry, with a deep commitment to his teams and clients, ensures Sonoma Aviation will continue to grow while staying true to its values."

Lackey's career in aviation took off at Tampa International Jet Center in 2008 where he rose through the ranks before becoming general manager of the FBO following its acquisition by Sheltair. Lackey then joined Sonoma Aviation in 2021 as director of FBOs.

"Since joining Sonoma Aviation, Clayton has drawn from his experience leading an award-winning FBO to drive measurable improvements at Carlsbad Jet Center and Sonoma Jet Center," adds Hochberg. "I am delighted to boost his role with the leadership team."

Both Sonoma Jet Center at Charles M Schulz - Sonoma County airport in Santa Rosa and Carlsbad Jet Center at McClellan-Palomar airport in Carlsbad are IS-BAH Stage II certified.
