The Malta Aviation Conference and Expo (MACE) has wrapped up its fifth edition, organised under the theme 'Maintaining Altitude' and with a focus on the latest developments and challenges facing the aviation industry as it rebounds to pre-pandemic heights.
The conference commenced with two enlightening workshops by Trustflight and Satcom Direct, setting the stage for the main conference programme. Over the course of two full days, MACE 2023 featured a line up of distinguished industry experts who shared their insights, experiences and visions for the future. Notable speakers included Nicolas Rallo, regional director of the ICAO European and North Atlantic (EUR/NAT) Office; Marylin Bastin, head of aviation sustainability at Eurocontrol; Glyn Hughes, director general of The International Air Cargo Association (TIACA); Victor Bleoca, VP cargo revenue optimisation and capacity of Emirates Sky Cargo and Laila Bin Hareb Almheiri, CEO and founder of Alive.
MACE founders Stanley Bugeja, Jonathan Dalli and Joshua Zammit expressed their commitment to staying at the forefront of the aviation industry and the importance of evolving with the industry's changing landscape. They brought in strategic partnerships and engaged thought leaders to positively shape the industry's future. Collectively they say: "The turnout, the quality of discussions and the networking opportunities exceeded our expectations. MACE continues to be a cornerstone event in the aviation industry, and we are proud to be part of this remarkable journey for the fifth consecutive year. The aviation community has once again come together to inspire and innovate, and we look forward to what the future holds for our industry. This is how we want MACE to continue evolving from a knowledge-centric and thought-leadership perspective."
