Atlas director joins The ACA board
Helicopter charter is still a relatively small but important part of the air charter world, but it is vital to ensure that the market is operating safely and legally, with high levels of service. Alana Burns will be at the forefront.

Atlas Helicopters operations director Alana Burns has been elected to the board of The Air Charter Association (The ACA), a global trade association for the aircraft charter industry.

With more than 20 years’ experience in the aviation industry, Burns has led Atlas Helicopters in its growth to becoming one of the leading helicopter charter companies in the UK.

Helicopter charter is still a relatively small but important part of the air charter world, but it is vital to ensure that the market is operating safely and legally, with high levels of service. She says: “I am honoured to be joining the board and look forward to taking an active role in developing the membership in the rotary sector, and working on ways in which The ACA can further support helicopter charter operations.”

Kevin Ducksbury, chairman of The ACA, adds: “I am delighted to add Alana to the team. Her knowledge and experience will bring a wealth of skills to the association and lead our strategy in increasing engagement with and support for the rotary sector. I am sure she will be a great asset and look forward to working with her.”
