Meridian Hayward gains Everest Fuel SAFE certification
Maintaining its accreditation of recognised industry standards and certifications demonstrates Meridian's commitment to the highest safety standards; it is SAFE according to Everest Fuel.
Meridian Hayward earns Everest Fuel SAFE certification.

Meridian's Hayward FBO in California has recently received SAFE (Safety Analysis and Facility Evaluation) accreditation from Everest Fuel. The FAA requires many operators to conduct routine inspections of the facilities where they receive fuel and ground support services. Everest conducts audits of FBOs to ensure the highest standards are met. SAFE certified FBOs are the best in the industry and exceed FAA requirements by passing a thorough 200 point on-site inspection conducted by Everest's team of regional managers.

“Safety is our number one priority,” says Meridian Hayward general manager Carlos Rodriguez. “Maintaining our accreditation of recognised industry standards and certifications demonstrates to our customers our commitment to the highest safety standards. It is also integral to our commitment to a daily safety culture we share as a team and our dedication to the highest safety standards in everything we do.”

The inspection for the Everest SAFE accreditation reviews all aspects at the FBO including training, facilities, service, security, operations and fuel quality control. FBOs that are certified as SAFE are high quality locations that customers can rely on. Meridian Hayward has continually met Everest's audit standards since 2017 and is committed to adhering to and exceeding industry-best practices.

Meridian Hayward and its sister FBO, Meridian Teterboro in New Jersey, are both IS-BAH Stage II certified, NATA Safety 1st and NATA Safety 1st Clean approved. They are both Corporate Aircraft Association Preferred FBOs at their respective airports.

“We are proud that our dedication to safety and to our customers is recognised by leading organisations that oversee and promote industry-best safety practices,” adds Rodriguez. “At Meridian, safety first and a commitment to excellence are the standards we live by.”
