US-based MRO specialist West Star Aviation has promoted Katie Hazelwonder to Citation project manager at its St Louis Regional airport facility in East Alton, Illinois.

Hazelwonder has been with West Star since 2017 in accounts payable, and then as billing coordinator in 2019. She obtained her master's degree in social work from St Louis University.

“Katie is a tremendous team player, and her organisational skills will benefit the programme along with our valued customers,” says senior manager of project management Scott Koehler.

“I appreciate the opportunity to expand my skills while still staying within the West Star organisation and working alongside my team members to deliver the best quality aircraft for our customers,” adds Hazelwonder.
