Turkey-based air ambulance operator Redstar Aviation has signed an MoU with Saudia Private Aviation (SPA), a subsidiary of the Saudia Group and a provider of aviation and ground handling services, that paves the way for further cooperation between the two parties in providing ground handling services for medical evacuation flights. The agreement was signed by Redstar CEO Emre Dursun and SPA CEO Dr Fahd Aljarboa.

Under the terms of the MoU, Redstar Aviation will provide international medical flight services while SPA will provide ground handling service for its flights in Saudi Arabia. The memorandum will ensure that the process to obtain a request for medical evacuation services is as smooth as possible, while also ensuring that providing logistical services for these trips meets the highest standards.

Dr Aljarboa says: “Redstar is the leading company in the provision of medical evacuation services, and this partnership expands our abilities in this area. We have the technical capabilities and qualified resources to manage ground handling operations for medical evacuation flights through operations that conform to the highest internationally recognised standards.”
