New Jersey-headquartered operator HeliFlite has started a new luxury charter service to and from Miami's Watson Island Seaplane Base, allowing guests direct access to the heart of Miami in minutes.

HeliFlite's executive cabin-class Sikorsky S-76 helicopter accommodates private parties of up to six passengers originating anywhere within a 250 mile radius of Miami. From Fort Lauderdale, Naples, Orlando, the Keys or Palm Beach, HeliFlite delivers guests directly to Watson Island Seaplane Base, situated two miles from downtown Miami and four miles from South Beach, and a short boat ride to Fishers Island and to any of the local marinas.

“We are thrilled to provide convenient access to Miami destinations for our south Florida clientele. The addition of Watson Island Seaplane Base allows our customers to spend less time navigating the increased traffic congestion and more time enjoying their activities,” says CEO Kurt Carlson.

HeliFlite is thus able to expand its service into the Miami and south Florida markets. The company has the largest fleet on the east coast with 13 private twin engine, dual-pilot helicopters with an impeccable safety record.
