Pacific AirHub takes steps towards sales leadership
Pacific AirHub is expanding its level of expertise, knowledge and partnerships within the industry by bringing in well-versed and sought-after additions to its team.
Senior sales executive Simon Larsen.

New Zealand-headquartered specialist in helicopter and helicopter parts sales and acquisitions Pacific AirHub has expanded its sales team with the appointment of Simon Larsen and Nico Grobbelaar as senior sales executives, and Debra Buckley as head of market research.

Larsen has significant experience in both helicopter retail and, especially, flying in the Oceania region. A resident of the Southern Alps of New Zealand, he had his eye on becoming a pilot from a young age. He has been in the industry for more than a decade, having worked internationally as a helicopter pilot.

Grobbelaar is a sales executive and chief pilot/instructor with around two decades of industry experience, leadership and knowledge of the aviation and aviation training industry. He has been involved in aircraft procurement, inspections and acquisitions in Africa, UAE, Europe and the US. In the last three years he was the co-owner of Aviation Sales International where he managed the buying and selling of helicopters, brokering global stock to Africa and neighbouring countries. He launched his own company Southern Choppers, a helicopter brokerage specialising in import and export with South Africa.

Buckley comes from an airline career in the Middle East and, after relocating back to South Africa, started working in pre-owned aircraft sales. She has sharpened her skills in sourcing aircraft and is now heading up Pacific's research department.

The Airbus, Bell and MD Helicopters specialist says its new team members solidify its place at the top of helicopter sales tables internationally. Established in 2020, the company is proud to have sold over 20 helicopters to new clients and shipped aircraft and parts to 12 countries.
