TAG Global Training participated at this year's ADS Group's Futures Day which took place on 20 July as part of the Farnborough International Airshow. The Futures Day is designed to stimulate and encourage young people between the ages of 11-21 into a career in the dynamic sectors of aviation and defence.

Training manager Debbie Elliott says: "The 'See Her, Be Her' initiative which took place during the Women in Aviation International networking morning brought together some of the most diverse roles held by women in aviation to encourage young girls to consider a career within aviation. Hearing so many unique and inspiring stories really instils the belief that there is no career that is off limits and champions the women who have paved the way for women in the future."

Guest speakers included Tess Naran, first officer from Titan Airways, who as an aspiring astronaut was selected from over 3,500 applicants to reach the top six finalists as part of BBC2’s programme Astronauts: do you have what it takes?
