The addition of a second Bombardier Challenger 605 is growing AllianceJet's portfolio of privately-owned charter aircraft. No more than 15 though, as it wants to preserve the boutique nature of its service.

Malta-based aircraft management group AllianceJet is set to expand its fleet with a second Bombardier Challenger 605. The company is stepping up plans to grow a portfolio of privately-owned aircraft that it will manage and make available on the charter market.

“We are promising a fully transparent relationship with our clients, boutique in the true sense of these words,” says co-shareholder and CEO Hervé Laitat. “And this approach matters with all our suppliers too, they need to know that you will be loyal. It is important to take the time to anticipate what the owners need and the issues they will face, and to negotiate the right deals with suppliers to pay the right price for the right level of service.”

By early 2023, the company expects to add more aircraft alongside its original Challenger 605, a Global 6000 and a Boeing 737-800, although it pledges to cap its managed fleet at 15 aircraft to preserve the boutique nature of its service.

The Alliance Aviation Group started operations in 2008 as a ground handling provider, realising several strategic acquisitions and key partnerships before the launch of commercial aircraft operations some two years ago with an EASA AOC.
