Mike Ingram to lead Shadin Avionics for Maverick
Mike Ingram's expertise in avionics products and their development into profitable businesses makes him the perfect fit to head up Shadin, providing data collection and conversion products for all types of aircraft.
Mike Ingram has become president and CEO of Shadin Avionics, a Maverick Investment company.

Maverick Investment Company has appointed industry veteran Mike Ingram as president and CEO of its subsidiary, Shadin Avionics. Ingram has spent his entire career in the avionics industry and has a track record of building and supporting great teams. He brings his broad expertise in avionics, systems engineering, software development, certification and product management to Shadin Avionics' growing flight performance and aircraft interface systems (AIS) products.

Ingram has extensive experience in the development of integrated flight decks, engine display systems and other avionics products, and in growing these product lines into profitable businesses. Most recently, he served as vice president and general manager of the avionics business unit at Honeywell Aerospace, where he oversaw strategy, product management and sales for the $2 billion business and general aviation, air transport and military division.

During his career, he has also served as vice president of strategy and growth at Aviage Systems in Shanghai, China, and progressively more senior roles at Avidyne Corp in engineering and product management positions. He is an experienced, hands-on leader who will utilise his engineering and pilot skills to expand Shadin Avionics' success in existing and new business areas.

“Mike will be an excellent president and CEO of Shadin Avionics, and we are excited that he has joined the team," says Maverick chairman Michael Healy. "He is a strong and positive business leader with a broad network in the aerospace industry and will leverage his deep technical and business experience to find new opportunities for Shadin Avionics' existing engine monitoring and interface converter products, all while growing the company's other product lines. With his more than 25 years of development, commercial and operational experience, and a track record of managing profitable growth, Mike is the right leader for the next phase of growth at Shadin Avionics.”

“I'm thrilled to be joining Shadin Avionics at this transformative time in the aerospace industry,” adds Ingram. “With so much new development in defence, sustainable, connected and autonomous aviation, I look forward to working with the team to adapt, accelerate and grow the business to create long-term value for our customers and owners.”

Ingram has an undergraduate degree in electrical and computer engineering from Worchester Polytechnic Institute and holds a master's degree from the University of Rhode Island in ocean engineering.
