Canadian charter operator Chrono Aviation and its subsidiary WAAS Aerospace have deployed Rusada's Envision software as its airworthiness and maintenance solution.

Rusada worked with the Chrono and WAAS teams throughout the deployment project to ensure a successful go live on eight of Envision's modules. Chrono will use its fleet management module for continued airworthiness and maintenance planning, base, line and component maintenance modules for MRO execution and inventory management for its warehouses. It will also use Envision's human resources, quality and safety, and finance and accounting modules to support these functions.

Dominic Cayouette, PRM/DOM at WAAS Aerospace says: “We have experienced significant levels of growth over the last five years and as such needed to upgrade our maintenance information system to manage our larger fleet and increased MRO activities. We were looking for an advanced and modern solution that was cost-effective at the same time. In Envision we found one software that could do it all and be the foundation for our continued growth.”

Chrono Aviation is the latest in a long line of exciting companies to select Envision as its software of choice,” says Julian Stourton Rusada CEO. “The teams here at Rusada and at Chrono and WAAS have done an exceptional job in getting the system live despite the challenges presented by the pandemic.”

Chrono provides charter services from its bases in Montreal, Quebec City and Rimouski across Canada and the US. The nine years old operator has a fleet of 14 aircraft from Pilatus PC-12s to Boeing 737s. It will soon be adding a 737-800 to the fleet, its largest aircraft to date. It is currently constructing a new 66,000 sq ft hangar at Montreal Saint-Hubert Longueuil airport to accommodate recent growth.
