Conway and Zimmerman promoted to avionics supervisors at West Star
West Star Aviation has boosted the avionics supervisor teams at its facility in Illinois. Chuck Conway has over 13 years of avionics experience and Jake Zimmerman has been with the company since 2015.

US business aviation MRO specialist West Star Aviation has announced that Chuck Conway has been promoted to Embraer avionics supervisor and Jake Zimmerman has been promoted to Falcon avionics supervisor at its St Louis Regional airport facility in East Alton, Illinois.

Conway has over 13 years of avionics experience, starting his career as a technician with the USMC and moving up the ranks at various companies in the St. Louis area, before landing at West Star as avionics maintenance lead last year.

“I appreciate the opportunity to advance within the West Star family and I'm looking forward to the continued growth of both my internal and customer relationships, while delivering and exceeding expectations,” says Conway.

Zimmerman has been with West Star since 2015 and has experience with all airframes while holding lead avionics positions since 2017.

“I appreciate the opportunity to continue my career with West Star and to be able to grow along with my team while providing the customers with the highest quality of service we are known for,” says Zimmerman.

“Chuck is highly focused on customer satisfaction and brings a vast amount of technical knowledge to the team,” says Rusty Gardner, avionics programme manager. “Jake is highly skilled in the avionics segment and will be a valuable asset to the Falcon team.”
