Savback will use the hangar space to showcase pre-owned helicopter inventory, invite clients to come and view helicopters for sale, undertake demonstrations and perform pre-purchase inspections on site.

Savback Helicopters AB is opening a UK home at Nottingham Heliport in the East Midlands, as it furthers its expansion in Europe. The dedicated helicopter facility, owned and operated by Central Helicopters, is set in 11 acres of private grounds, offering VIP facilities for crew and passengers and a 520 sqm hangar and another 250 sqm of offices and classrooms.

Savback will use the hangar space to showcase pre-owned helicopter inventory, invite clients to come and view helicopters for sale, undertake demonstrations and perform pre-purchase inspections on site.

“We selected East Midlands' Nottingham Heliport as our new home with some deliberation. It's strategically centrally located in the heart of the UK, close to major cities including Derby, Leicester and Birmingham and convenient for motor sports and F1 industries, as well as being just 30 minutes' drive from East Midlands airport,” says Reja Savbäck, CEO, Savback Helicopters. “Nottingham Heliport is an increasingly popular refuelling facility, so potential visitors can view any for sale aircraft while their helicopter is being refuelled.”

“With its outstanding facilities and central location, it's an ideal base to launch our new products and support our existing and growing client base here in the UK. Our continued growth in these unprecedented times is testament to the diligent Savback team,” says Rick Andrew, commercial and sales director at Savback.
