Euro Jet now supports arrivals at Kukes International airport with ground support services. The airport plans to build a VIP lounge on the second floor of the main terminal.
Behare Hallaqi, Euro Jet's manager at Kukes airport.

Euro Jet is now supporting flights at the newly opened Kukes International airport in Albania. Located in the north-east of the country, close to the Kosovo border, Kukes is a two-hour drive from Tirana, the capital of Albania, where Euro Jet already offers ground support.

Kukes airport has one main terminal and there is currently no general aviation terminal. The airport plans to build a new VIP lounge for passengers on the second floor of the main terminal and is working on adding more parking spaces dedicated to general aviation. The airport anticipates serving over 80,000 passengers on almost 700 flights in the remaining months of the year 2021.

Euro Jet's operation at Kukes airport is being led by its manager in Albania, Behare Hallaqi. His team will oversee the coordination of requested flight support services including assisting with ground handling support; jet fuel; landing and overflight permits; flight planning; flight riding; in-flight catering; crew accommodation; transportation; and credit to qualifying customers.
