King Airs and 1900s are doing the business for CSI
CSI Aviation has renewed and won multiple government service contracts this year that require proven experience in aviation management and the use of an organic fleet of fixed wing aircraft such as Beech 1900s.
CSI says its experience has allowed it to excel throughout the pandemic.

This year has been a strong one for North American operator CSI Aviation as an FAA Part 135 air carrier with an ARG/US Gold rating and NAAMTA certification for medical flight services. The company broke records for its medical flight services, allowing its operation to grow. It has renewed and won multiple government service contracts that require proven experience in aviation management and the use of an organic fleet of fixed wing aircraft.

CSI currently has a fleet of Beechcraft King Airs and Beechcraft 1900s; both types are popular in their respective operational spaces. “Our King Airs are predominantly used for our medical flight missions while our 1900s are used for our government contract requirements and commercial air charter,” says executive VP Tommy Dunn. “We receive missions daily through our highly-trained dispatch centre. On the medical side, we have flown all types of patients, including COVID patients. Our Deaprtment of Defense and government contracts allow us to fly DOD personnel daily. The commercial side of the house has coordinated flights to St. Kitts and daily trips to various islands in the Bahamas.

“CSI has filled a unique niche in the aviation industry for over 43 years by supporting aviation requirements for air charter services, medical flight services and aviation programme management. Our experience has enabled us to excel throughout the pandemic and adapt procedures, equipment and training efficiently and effectively. While continuing to support all aviation requirements for our government contracts, we’ve been able to supply much needed medical flight services across the country.

“We will continue to grow our operation and provide a safe and reliable service to all of our customers as a global aviation company providing diverse and complex solutions to commercial, group and private individuals, medical patients and government customers.”
