Metrojet MRO achieves a brace of accreditations
The certifications allow the Hong Kong based MRO to continue servicing B and N registered aircraft. COVID-19 travel restrictions meant that the FAA and HKCAD auditors completed everything via online services.
Metrojet provides inclusive aircraft management, charter, maintenance, and aviation consultancy services to its business aviation customer base.

Metrojet's Hong Kong MRO station has passed audits carried out by the Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department and the FAA, allowing Metrojet to continue servicing B- and N-registered aircraft.

These two audits are the most recent renewals to the certifications granted by the Aruba DCA, Bermuda BCAA, Canada TCCA, Cayman Island CAACI, Isle of Man IoMAR, Qatar QCAA and San Marino SMAR.

“Due to the travel restrictions imposed during the COVID-19 pandemic, the US FAA auditors and our Hong Kong MRO team completed the audit via online applications, working around the clock to accommodate the time zone difference. This same dedication applies to how we serve our clients, focusing on providing safe and quality business aviation services,” says Dave Yip, Metrojet's general manager, MRO Hong Kong.

Established in 1997 as part of the Kadoorie Group, Metrojet has pioneered business aviation services in Hong Kong. It provides inclusive aircraft management, charter, maintenance, and aviation consultancy services to its business aviation customer base.
