AllianceJet has appointed business aviation veteran Hervé Laitat as CEO. The Alliance Aviation Group subsidiary has added 20 years of experience in aviation with the recruitment of Laitat, who will support it by enhancing its aviation asset management operations.

Laitat joins from Luxaviation Group where he served as group chief strategy officer in addition to CEO of Luxaviation Belgium, formerly Abelag, overseeing a fleet of more than 20 business jets and the FBO at Brussels airport. He has also represented the interests of business aviation operators as a board member and treasurer of the European Business Aviation Association for 15 years.

AllianceJet’s aviation asset management services cover the full cycle of aircraft ownership to include operational management and supervision under the Malta-based AOC; technical follow-ups with in-house CAMO-approved experts; chartering; aircraft sales; and aircraft assets advisory including business aircraft financing and recommendations on aircraft value preservation.

“I am delighted to see Hervé take the helm at AllianceJet. His business aviation experience perfectly complements the invaluable knowledge I’ve gained during my career in the luxury hospitality sector, says Hans Cauchi, AllianceJet chairman. “In just one year of operations, our company has achieved many impressive milestones, offering an all-rounded, fully tailored experience to business aviation customers, supported by a highly committed and experienced team.”

AllianceJet has pledged to cap its fleet of managed aircraft, which consists of a Global 6000 and Challenger 605, at 15 aircraft to ensure a continuous high standard of service for all clients.
