Production organisation approval from Austro Control confirms that F/List has the necessary qualified personnel, uses the required methods, processes and procedures, and implements reliable quality assurance.

The metal business unit of F/List, a provider of interiors for business jets, yachts and residences, has been granted production organisation approval by the Austrian aviation agency Austro Control.

This means that the company’s latest division is qualified in accordance with EASA Part 21, Sub-Part G and can issue an official release certificate for all components manufactured there for the aviation sector. With the POA, Austro Control confirms that the company has the necessary qualified personnel, uses the required methods, processes and procedures, and implements reliable quality assurance.

F/List COO Andreas Aigner says: “We are very pleased to have received POA approval for our business unit. It means that we’re well prepared for the next growth phase.”

The approval covers the provisions of Class 2, the manufacture of aircraft cabin components made of metal and/or composite panels with a decorative surface. This confirms that F/List's metal business unit has implemented a monitored quality assurance system, which enables it to manufacture components under its sole responsibility and to release them for installation in aircraft with an official release certificate (EASA Form 1) without any further inspection.
