Jet Aviation authorised to carry 20 passengers or more
With Part 125, Jet Aviation can now operate large aircraft carrying groups of 20 or more passengers, such as corporate groups, educational institutes or sports teams. A Boeing 787 was used as a prototype.

Jet Aviation has received Part 125 certification from the FAA to operate aircraft that seat 20 or more passengers.

Part 125 certification was developed by the FAA to establish a uniform set of certification and operational rules for large aircraft with a seating capacity of 20 or more. The company used a Boeing 787 aircraft as its prototype in the Part 125 filing process.

“I am incredibly proud of our Flight Services team for the work they have done to make this possible,” says David Dalpiaz, Jet Aviation's VP of flight services, Americas. “Their efforts are a representation of Jet Aviation's dedication to delivering an elevated customer experience.”

With Part 125 certification, Jet Aviation can now operate large aircraft carrying groups of 20 or more passengers, such as corporate groups, educational institutes or sports teams.

“The team worked diligently to deliver this complex approval, satisfied the customer and created an important capability to add to our suite of aircraft management services,” concludes David Best, senior VP of regional operations and general manager, Americas.
