TailHail offers 1,000 Takeoff memberships for free
Each member that signs up to one of TailHail's 1,000 complimentary Takeoff memberships will receive access to the company's innovative flight platform, member-only benefits and a private flight advisor.
James Moon hopes to eclipse his rivals.

UK aviation technology company TailHail has launched a free membership offer to support those looking for a safe and secure flight option this summer. TailHail is offering for free the first 1,000 of its ‘Takeoff’ memberships, otherwise priced at GBP495 a year.

Founded by 27-year old aviation entrepreneur James Moon, TailHail provides a membership-based private aviation platform designed to reduce the upfront cost to fly privately. TailHail enables individuals, families and businesses to book private flights, manage their charter accounts and participate in sustainable flight-sharing opportunities.

Its mission is to democratise private aviation and to allow for affordable access to private aircraft through a dedicated website platform that utilises industry unique technology, bringing flying privately to the masses worldwide.

The technology company was backed in early 2020 by several local angels including serial tech investor Neil Stephenson. Since launching the platform, the team has experienced substantial demand from individuals, families and businesses worldwide.

For each member that signs up as part of this offer, they will receive access to TailHail's innovative flight platform, member-only benefits and a private flight advisor.

Moon remarks: “This is a truly great way to show our support in what has been a tough 12 months for everyone. This offer is open to anyone, and we hope that it will help those looking for a safe and secure direct flight option when borders reopen again. We have clients worldwide that have never flown privately before and that want to fly more securely as a result of COVID. People are afraid of the crowds at airports; they will put their health first when making travel decisions.”

While flying privately can be considered expensive and for the select few only, Moon believes that TailHail's flight sharing functionality within its platform will reduce the financial barrier that is often associated with private air travel.

“If you are going to a sporting or business event and you know that someone else from your city is also heading to the same event, the cost of flying privately can be reduced significantly by sharing the flight together. Through our platform we are establishing a global community of likeminded people and businesses that want to experience the benefits that flying private can offer but for a lot less,” he concludes.
