RVL Group MD Connor joins board at The ACA
The ACA appointed Emily Williams and Derek Thomson to its board in January, and has followed this up by adding Dave Connor. Connor looks forward to navigating through industry issues including sustainability.
Connor is an expert in commercial and business development, marketing and air operations management.

The Air Charter Association (The ACA) has appointed Dave Connor, MD of RVL, as a board member. Connor has over 14 years of aviation experience and is a specialist in air operations management. He is the third new board member that The ACA has appointed this year, following Emily Williams and Derek Thomson in January.

Connor says: “This year will be a very exciting time for the global air charter industry, although not without its challenges. I'm looking forward to contributing to the industry's development and supporting the association in its mission to help air charter navigate successfully through global issues such as the pandemic and sustainability, as well as the challenges that affect specific regions.”

He will continue in his role as managing director of RVL Group, the East Midlands airport-based specialist aviation services provider and aircraft operator. Connor is an expert in commercial and business development, marketing and air operations management.

The ACA chairman Kevin Ducksbury adds: “We look forward to welcoming Dave to our board. His appointment, alongside Derek Thomson and Emily Williams in January, highlights our mission to continuously develop and expand our expertise within the aviation industry. Dave has broad experience in the industry, and his knowledge in compliance and regulatory procedures will prove particularly invaluable to the Association across many of its initiatives including the campaign against illegal charter.”
