Bowman says quarantine reduction really hits the mark
Justin Bowman and ACS are very optimistic about the news from the UK government, which could reduce quarantine from 14 to five days. The company hopes that this change will lead to a Christmas booking surge.
Justin Bowman joined ACS in 1992 and has been CEO since 2013.

Justin Bowman, CEO at Air Charter Service, has welcomed the UK government's announcement regarding the Test To Release scheme, which could slash quarantine for arrivals into England to five days from 15 December.

Bowman says: “The latest announcement regarding the 'Test To Release' scheme to reduce quarantine from 14 days to five, subject to receiving a negative COVID test, is a welcome move and something we wholeheartedly support. This will benefit the travel industry as a whole and will also give travellers the confidence to make future bookings. As a global aircraft charter company we are very optimistic about this news, which could start as soon as next month. This means we can expect an increase in families booking trips for Christmas travelling by private jet, the most hygienic way to travel due to minimal human interactions and an avoidance of airport queues. Combined with the vaccine developments that have been announced over the past couple of weeks, we are positive about air travel seeing a real revival in the coming months.”

Starting his tenure with ACS in 1992, Bowman helped kick-start the company with chairman Chris Leach and rose through the ranks to the position of group CEO in 2013.

ACS has 27 worldwide offices, spanning all six major continents and offers private jet, commercial airliner and cargo aircraft charters, as well as onboard courier solutions. It arranges more than 23,000 charter flights annually with revenue of close to 700 million dollars. Formed in 1990 by chairman Chris Leach and CEO Justin Bowman it now employs more than 450 staff worldwide. Its team of dedicated charter experts provide local expertise with access to over 50,000 aircraft globally.
