Spirit levels up with hangar at Columbus International
Operating in a hangar facility with over 120,000 sq ft of hangar space and featuring tall and wide opening doors, Spirit Aeronautics can now accommodate VVIP aircraft such as the BBJ, ACJ or regional airliners.
More efficient ops are set to follow for Spirit.

US Part 145 Spirit Aeronautics has completed its relocation to a larger, more capable hangar facility to serve its clients more efficiently and expand its market reach. Located at Signature Flight Support's FBO at John Glenn Columbus International airport in Columbus, Ohio, this upgrade will enable the team's expansion into a higher level of aircraft maintenance and avionics support.

CEO Rick Ochs states: “We are keeping true to our growth plans established years prior in moving into much larger hangar accommodations in 2020. This move will allow us to operate more efficiently, saving our customers downtime and reducing costs. We are fortunate to be able to use the current economic environment to reduce our overhead costs while increasing our capabilities for aircraft maintenance and avionics systems modifications operations.”
