Fargo hits 25 with a pledge to go even further
25-year-old Fargo Jet Center's maintenance department has received the FAA Diamond Award and NATA 5-Star Maintenance Award, its flight operations department is a recipient of the NBAA Flying Safety Award.
FJC hosted an afternoon open house and a static display featuring a Gulfstream G280, FJC charter and flight school aircraft, and a new Cirrus SR22 at its facility.

Fargo Jet Center (FJC) celebrated its 25th anniversary in September. It was established in 1995 when its sister company Weather Modification International moved its headquarters to Fargo, North Dakota, and sought an opportunity to start an aviation service company while supporting its fleet of aircraft.

Based at Hector International airport, FJC offers a full-service FBO including refuelling and ground support, maintenance, avionics, aircraft charter and management, and upholstery and paint services. Additionally, the company offers flight training.

FJC has grown exponentially in the last 25 years, including purchasing and managing aviation service companies Williston Jet Center in Williston, North Dakota from 2013 to 2014 and Premier Jet Center in Eden Prairie, Minnesota from 2014 to the present.

Over the past decade, FJC has been recognised in the top five our cent of aviation service companies in the Aviation International News annual FBO Survey, Fltplan.com's Pilots' Choice awards, and was the recipient of Fargo Moorhead West Fargo Chamber of Commerce ‘Business of the Year’ in 2010. Additionally, FJC's maintenance department has received the FAA Diamond Award and NATA 5-Star Maintenance Award, its flight operations department is a recipient of the NBAA Flying Safety Award, having flown over 25,000 commercial business hours accident-free, and its flight school has been recognised in the AOPA Flight Training Experience Awards as a distinguished school.

“We take great pride in celebrating this milestone as it represents our resilience in the fast-changing aviation industry,” remarks company president Jim Sweeney. “We are proud of our accomplishments over the past 25 years and are excited for many great years to come. We thank our team members, clients and partners, including US Customs and Border Protection, Fargo's ATC tower and Fargo's Municipal Airport Authority for their support in our continued success. Without them, this anniversary would not be possible.”
