Colorado recognises West Star's environmental commitment
West Star entered the Colorado Governor's Environmental Leadership Program in October 2010, in addition to being a Western Slope leader, which assists other companies to successfully enter the programme.

West Star Aviation has been recognised by the governor of Colorado as a Gold Leader from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environmental Leadership Program (ELP) for a sixth consecutive year.

The Environmental Leadership Program is a state-wide recognition and reward programme offering benefits and incentives to members that go above and beyond compliance with state and federal regulations and are committed to continual environmental improvements. West Star entered the Colorado Governor's Environmental Leadership Program in October 2010, in addition to being a Western Slope leader, which assists other companies to successfully enter the programme.

“Contributing to the community's ongoing environmental efforts and improvements gives our company and employees great pride in knowing that we are focused on growing a green company with new innovations and ideas,” says Dave Krogman, general manager.
