Star struck by encouraging third quarter start
Older clients, whose immune systems may be compromised and who are in a high-risk category for contracting COVID-19, are turning to Star Jets International's private aviation solutions during the pandemic.

Ricky Sitomer, CEO of New York-based broker Star Jets International, has announced a successful start to the third quarter, with over $1,000,000 booking revenue from 1 to 15 July. The company is seeing demand for private air travel continue to increase with its August flight bookings rising amid pandemic health concerns.

Star Jets is seeing booking increases from both returning and new customers requiring travel options during the virus outbreak. Elderly clients, whose immune systems may be compromised and who have been placed in a high-risk category for contracting COVID- 19, are turning to the broker's private aviation solutions. While commercial traffic now runs at about 15 per cent to 17 per cent of last year's totals, the private flights industry is seeing demand at up to 70 per cent or more, according to industry data and Private Jet Card Comparisons.

Sitomer comments: “We are in a great position to both service the long-term customers of Star Jets and introduce new clients to the world of flying private. It just makes sense for people in this time to be seeking out alternative ways to visit loved ones or to travel for pressing business needs, all while staying safe in the process. We look forward to keeping up the momentum and a busy third quarter.”
