Ernst & Young (EY) has chosen Dragon General Aviation Group (DGA) founder and chairperson Diana Chou as one of 22 women founders selected for the EY Entrepreneurial Winning Women Asia Pacific Class of 2020.

Chou says: “I am honoured to be recognised for the success that DGA Group has achieved over the past 20 years in pioneering general aviation in Asia. It's very special to be recognised as the only Hong Kong company in this year's cohort of the Asia Pacific programme.”

Not only founder and chairperson of DGA and its four subsidiaries: charter and consultancy L'Voyage; aircraft acquisition, resales and consultancy Jet8; bespoke travel agency L'Voyage Travel; and helicopter acquisition and maintenance company Aerochine, Chou is co-founder and governor on the board of AsBAA; a director of the Pacific Basin Economic Council and the China Airport General Aviation Council; a member of the Better HK Foundation Council and the General Association of Zhejiang Entrepreneurs board; vice chairman of the HK & Mainland International Investment Society; a member of the Ningbo Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference; and associate member of the Society of The Golden Keys of Hong Kong.

She is the first woman to sell private jets in Asia and has helped to shape the development of the general aviation industry in Greater China for over 18 years. Her sales company Sino Private Aviation was Bombardier’s official representative for Greater China for 15 years.

As a leading voice in the general aviation industry in Greater China, Chou advocates for better aviation standards and development of talent in the fast-developing general aviation industry in China and Hong Kong.

Since its launch in the US in 2008, the EY programme has identified more than 750 women entrepreneurs across different industries.

Chou adds: “We aim to lead Asia's general aviation industry by championing education, safety and innovation. We are a customer-centric organisation committed to providing tailored solutions for our clients, and providing them with unrivalled knowledge to make informed business decisions.”
