Desert Jet makes Coachella FBO an art-filled resource
A rolling exhibition of artworks will transform the lobby of Desert Jet's Coachella Valley FBO into a gallery for travellers to peruse and enjoy. The first to feature is abstract artist Michael Lydon.
Lydon's abstract Pollock-esque artwork will grace the walls of Desert Jet's FBO.

Palm Springs-based Desert Jet has launched its new artist series at the Jacqueline Cochran Regional airport in the Coachella Valley. Each quarter, the company will feature a local artist and display their art collection throughout its brand-new FBO facility, Desert Jet Center.

Launching the series is abstract artist Michael Lydon, who has opted to donate a portion of his proceeds from any sale of his paintings to Angel Flight West, a non-profit, volunteer-driven aviation organisation that arranges free, non-emergency air travel for children and adults with serious medical conditions and other compelling needs.

“Much like aviation, art has always been an inspiration,” says Desert Jet CEO Jared Fox. “It's great that we can bring two inspiring genres together to meet at the new center. We look forward to providing a resource for local artists to showcase their work and skills while also creating a unique gallery-esque environment for our guests. We are surrounded by great artists in the Palm Springs area, it felt natural to open up our FBO to their work.”
