Jet Edge International has acquired Columbus, Ohio-based JetSelect Aviation to create a large and diverse fleet of aircraft based throughout the United States. The acquisition is set to provide elevated private jet charter options for consumers and corporations across the country, as Jet Edge expands east and west coast as well as midwest and central operations.

The Jet Edge fleet now numbers more than 85 aircraft. The deal has expanded its fleet of large cabin and ultra long range aircraft from Gulfstream, Bombardier, Dassault, Boeing and Embraer to include a bolstered offering in the super midsize cabin class with new models of Challenger 300/350 aircraft. Heavy jet additions to the fleet include Challenger 604, Gulfstream G450, Falcon 900EX and Global 5000. Both organisations will benefit from integrating the combined fleet into Jet Edge's charter platform, with dedicated internal wholesale sales teams that leverage partnerships with brokers. Jet Edge's point-to-point charter fleet will also now be offered by two complementary aircraft series, the Bombardier Challenger and Gulfstream GIV/GV aircraft.

“We are thrilled to welcome the JetSelect Aviation aircraft owners, employees and charter clients to Jet Edge,” notes Jet Edge CEO Bill Papariella. “Robert Austin has done an incredible job building an amazing team, a significant fleet of Bombardier series aircraft and the infrastructure to support the new fleet diversification. We look forward to working together towards a very successful 2020; this acquisition further solidifies Jet Edge as a world-class, end-to-end private aviation services platform.”

JetSelect will maintain Columbus-based operations and Jet Edge will retain all the existing team members as well as provide growth and advancement opportunities. Jet Edge will provide JetSelect Aviation aircraft owners access to its robust charter programme and Jet Edge's expanded fleet offering will benefit both companies' private jet charter clients.

JetSelect Aviation's aircraft fleet is strategically located throughout the central and eastern US and expands Jet Edge's domestic hub locations.
