West Star has completed its first 20-year Global Express inspection at its East Alton (ALN) location.

The 240-month inspection incorporated gear overhaul, numerous Service Bulletin updates including the inboard flap 700-57-050, upgrades to existing Honeywell DU875s avionics with new Primus Elite enhanced features, and a complete strip and repaint of the aircraft.

“Considering our extensive experience with Global Express aircraft, we stand ready for additional inspections coming due in 2020 and look forward to providing these operators with a full range of inspection and service capabilities,” states technical services manager Steve Bates.
