Heron braves chill of Canada to earn FAOC
Working closely with the Transport Canada authorities and personnel, Heron Aviation achieved its FAOC in good time, showing a high level of regulatory cooperation. It can now offer its customers the best of Canada.

Heron Aviation has expanded its operational capabilities by being awarded a Canadian Foreign Air Operator Certificate (FAOC) under approval number 12839. Effective immediately, the operator is approved to provide commercial air transport to all international airports in Canada, allowing customers limitless access to the best of what the country has to offer.

In tandem with the company's FAA Part 129 certification, Heron can present itself to clients as a truly worldwide operator with expertise in operating to the furthest points across the globe.

The Canadian FOAC approval process consists of an intensive review undertaken by Transport Canada. Special consideration is paid to the harsh winter conditions present in the country, with strict standards related to thorough de- and anti-icing procedures.

Working closely with the Transport Canada authorities and personnel, Heron Aviation achieved its FAOC in good time, demonstrating a high level of regulatory cooperation. Heron Aviation's experience and expertise in the region was evident as the company's application was approved weeks ahead of normal processing times.
