A Kona-branded EC135 provides round-the-clock emergency lift for those in need in Hawaii.

Hawaii Life Flight has renewed its five-year preferred provider agreement with Kona Community Hospital. The agreement confirms that the hospital will call Hawaii Life Flight first for all air medical patient transports within the scope of the air medical provider's services.

“We are honoured to partner with Kona Community Hospital to serve the needs of its patients and the Kona community,” states Hawaii Life Flight programme director Mark “We are very excited to continue working with the hospital's chief executive officer Jay Kreuzer and his team to provide safe, compassionate and efficient solutions to medical transportation needs both in Kona and throughout the Hawaiian Islands.”

Kreuzer adds: “Daily, Hawaii Life Flight crews work with our hospital teams to provide dedicated 24/7 emergency air transport to our patients. The Kona Community Hospital/Hawaii Life Flight partnership, launched in 2014, has been a time saver and a life saver for our rural community.”
